Stewart Gledhill is a highly qualified and experienced remedial building surveyor specialising in rising dampness, penetrating dampness, water ingress below ground, timber decay and beetle infestation.

He studied biology and chemistry at King's College London obtaining an honours degree. He then undertook post-graduate research into water based wood preservatives and timber decay at Imperial College London for four years.

From 1984- 2000 Stewart worked as a Technical Manager for a leading remedial treatment company in North London investigating and rectifying dampness, timber decay and water ingress problems in the field. He is a Certified Timber Infestation Surveyor (with credit) and a Certified Remedial Damp-proofing Surveyor in addition to having C.S.R.T. status.

He specialises in having a holistic and practical approach to building preservation and damp-proofing.
